James Sicily has claimed MVP honours for Round 11 following his monster performance in Hawthorn's stirring come-from-behind win over St Kilda.

The Hawks skipper produced the game of his life to lead the brown and gold to its third victory for the year, and its second in as many weeks.

In one of the most dominant displayers from a defender in recent memory, Sicily racked up a career-best 43 disposals, which included 21 intercept possessions and 17 contested possessions.

The 28-year-old was everywhere, also putting up 11 score involvements to go with 628m gained.
