Brian Lake’s surprising contested mark from the third quarter of Saturday night's loss to Sydney has been nominated for Mark of the Year.

Sydney’s Dan Hannebery cleared the ball from the center square to a one-on-one contest between Brian Lake and Kurt Tippett. As the ball approached the pair, Tippett attempted to spoil the ball while Lake used his strength to somehow take the one-handed mark.
