STAR recruit Lewis Jetta will make his West Coast Eagles debut in Sunday's 2015 grand final rematch at the MCG.
Jetta joins the Eagles' 25-player squad, alongside Mark Hutchings, Fraser McInnes and potential debutant Tom Cole.
Former Hawk Xavier Ellis (Achilles) is the only player out of the Eagles starting 22 from their big win against Brisbane Lions in Round 1.
What to expect
West Coast recorded a comfortable Round 1 win against the Lions, kicking a massive 26 goals in their first game of the season.
The Eagles’ forward prowess has been a feature of their game for some time, with the likes of Josh Kennedy, Jack Darling, Josh Hill, Mark LeCras and Nic Naitanui all capable of kicking multiple goals when forward of centre.
Their midfield is as deep as any in the competition, and was a key reason why they made the 2015 Grand Final.
2014 Brownlow Medallist Matt Priddis, Andrew Gaff, Luke Shuey and Elliot Yeo form the core of what is an industrious engine room and provides good service to their forwards.
The Eagles are also bolstered by the return of key defender Eric Mackenzie this season after missing all of the 2015 season with a knee reconstruction, which will certainly strengthen their back line and also free up swingman Jeremy McGovern.
Players to watch
Josh Kennedy will be the forward that the Hawks most need to look out for, fresh from an eight-goal haul against the Lions.
Nic Naitanui also had a huge game against the Lions, as did Matt Priddis who collected 43 disposals and will need to be monitored closely by Hawthorn’s midfielders on Sunday to ensure West Coast don’t get first use of the footy.
Potential changes
The Hawks have some big names on the sidelines, but so do the Eagles.
Former Hawk Xavier Ellis has been ruled out for up to two months with an Achilles tear, while Dom Sheed, Sharrod Wellingham and Chris Masten are all out through injury.
