HAWTHORN has upgraded rookie Kade Stewart to its senior list.
The 19-year-old Western Australian joined the club with pick 36 in last year’s Rookie Draft, from South Fremantle.
He comes onto the senior list in place of Ryan Burton, who has been placed on the long-term injury list.
Stewart, a skilful left-foot midfielder/half-forward, has featured in all six matches for VFL affiliate Box Hill Hawks this season.
He has averaged 14.7 disposals and 6.1 tackles at VFL level in 2016, and has also kicked seven goals.
