Round 10 was full of positive stories for the Hawks, with several young players making their mark and the captain fittingly kicking the winning goal.
Vice Captain Isaac Smith was pleased with the team's endeavour against a hungry Sydney outfit.
"It's been happy hunting grounds up [in Sydney] for us," Smith said during his press conference on Monday.
"We've got a few young guys at the moment so it's pretty exciting to have them in the team, and they all contributed.
"And having [Roughy] back healthy and playing footy is great, and I'm guessing other than if you're a Swans supporter, the rest of the AFL world would be wishing that he kicked it and he did."
