Harry Morrison got rewarded for a fantastic first season at the Hawks, when he was selected to debut against the Western Bulldogs in Round 23.

Morrison played 17 games for Box Hill this year, averaging 20 disposals, six marks and four tackles.

He was trialled in a range of positions but thrived most as an attacking half-back.

In his debut game, the 18-year old displayed strong levels of composure, grit and skill level.

The Benalla product can be very happy with his first year in the system, as he now sets his sights on an important pre-season.

A word from: Brett Ratten

“Harry had a taste of AFL footy in the last game.

He is a first-year player and he hasn’t done much wrong at all. He can play multiple positions, but played mostly in the backline at VFL level. He has that flexibility in his position though. He uses the ball well, he is cool under pressure and he is very brave.

“He’ll get a real lift of energy by playing in the last senior game and he is one that will develop nicely if he keeps tracking the way he is.”
