Jacob Koschitzke has been selected by Hawthorn with the club’s first pick in the 2018 NAB AFL draft.
Koschitzke was taken with selection Pick 52 overall.
The swingman from the Murray Bushrangers was rated among the best key position prospects in the draft.
After an impressive national U18 championships which resulted in an All-Australian jumper, the cousin of former Saint Justin Koschitzke has shown an ability to play both ends of the ground.
Standing at 196cm tall, the youngster is known for his composure, his skills overhead and his impressive footy IQ.
