Review
Jones continued to show promising signs in 2018, playing in 12 games for Box Hill.
The 19-year-old played predominantly in defence this season, as his competitive instinct served him well in a foreign position.
Box Hill coach Chris Newman consistently complimented the rookie on his desire to learn and work hard throughout the year.
Jones’ best game this year came against Port Melbourne in Round 15 when he had 26 touches, 14 handball receives, seven marks and three tackles.
Unfortunately, injury inhibited his second season at the club, with a shoulder injury ending Jones’ season prematurely following the Hawks’ Round 17 win over Sandringham.
