Bailey Macdonald joined the brown and gold in the 2022 national draft, selected with Pick 51. The 19-year-old was unable to add to his two AFL appearances in 2024 after battling through some injury niggles throughout the year. Macdonald is a rebound defender with plenty of speed to burn, making him an exciting prospect in Hawthorn’s backline.
