He averaged a career-high 18.7 touches from his 20 matches in 2021, and also ranked third in the club for marks with an average of 5.5 per game.

Howe was particularly outstanding during the final month of the season, averaging 23.7 disposals from his four games, including a haul of 34 touches in Round 22.

His successful 2021 campaign comes after he endured a challenging 2020 when he was forced to undergo surgery on his plantar fascia.
