Following a quiet start to Hawthorn's trade period, the last 24 hours witnessed some movement for the brown and gold with one Hawk departing and two re-signing.
On the third episode of Hawthorn’s ‘Unpacking Trade’ podcast, Head of Football Rob McCartney speaks exclusively following the re-signings of Daniel Howe and Finn Maginness.
McCartney said Howe was a much-loved member of the team who is starting to hit his prime, and also insisted that the best is yet to come for Maginness.

"It's great to get Howey on board for 2022, his form in the back half of the year was exceptional," he said.
"It's great news for Finn - he's faced some COVID-19 effected seasons so he hasn't had a great run at footy yet.
"We're excited to see what the next two years can bring with Finn as a player."
Friday's episode also recaps recent media in which National Recruiting Manager Mark McKenzie addresses speculation surrounding Hawthorn’s links to Port Adelaide ruckman Peter Ladhams, as well as Collingwood’s Max Lynch and West Coast’s Jarrod Brander.
