The AFL has confirmed that Hawthorn’s 2022 AAMI Community Series match against Richmond will be held at Devonport Oval.
Hawthorn will host Richmond at Devonport Oval in a tribute match for the families and communities affected by the horrific accident at Hillcrest Primary School in north-west Tasmania which occurred in December last year.
The match will now be followed by a special live music performance from local band, Luca Brasi.
All funds raised from the tribute match will go directly to the Hillcrest Community Public Fund which has been established to provide ongoing care and help deliver a series of initiatives in support of the Hillcrest Primary School Community.
The game will be the Hawks' sole Community Series match-up as the club looks to ramp up its preparations for season 2022.
Hawthorn members will have free access to the match, however, will need to redeem a free ticket to gain entry.
Tickets for Hawthorn’s 2022 AAMI Community Series match against Richmond go on-sale tomorrow on Wednesday 23 February.
