Jai Newcombe has claimed back-to-back MVP plaudits following another outstanding performance against Geelong on Easter Monday.
Newcombe received the nod from fans following the Round 5 win which saw him finish with a career-best 31 disposals and a game-high 653 metres gained.
The accolade comes after he took home last week’s MVP against St Kilda, standing out with his determination, work rate and persistence.
With just 12 senior games to his name, fans again were full of praise for the 20-year-old and his attacking style of play.
Providing much optimism across the Hawks faithful, Newcombe has played every game so far in 2022, cementing himself as a key figure in Hawthorn's midfield.
It has been a whirlwind journey for the youngster who joined Hawthorn less than 12 months ago following last year's mid-season rookie draft.
