The VFLW Hawks knocked off the top of the table Casey Demons at Box Hill City Oval on Sunday, in what was the side's most anticipated showdown of the season.

“Cunningham was back in the ruck, she had a hand issue so she missed last week. It was good to have three talls back in, so it was a good change for us.”

“Jordy played again through the middle, and she provided us with a lot of run. She was very solid through there, much like all the midfielders were today.”

“Nadia was really solid down back, she took some great intercept marks. She has a cool head and is just great at decision-making.”

“Kemp was solid for us today. Again she's another one of our backs, I could have named all of them - they all played really well. Her decision-making and ability to act under pressure were both strong.”
