Hawthorn forward Mitch Lewis says his side is focussed on finishing the season strongly following its 32-point win against Adelaide on Sunday.

Lewis said despite finals now being out of the equation, his teammates were determined to continue building their momentum heading into the final rounds of the home-and-away season.

“It’s definitely not the end of the year yet, we’ve still got six to seven rounds to go,” Lewis said.

“We're really bullish in what we're trying to achieve in the coming years.

“The next six to seven rounds is just our journey and we’re hoping to put together some really solid performances.”

Lewis – who kicked an equal career-best five goals against the Crows – said the victory came following a team effort.

“We’re getting some output from a lot of guys now which is good,” Lewis said.

“I thought Conor Nash was really good on the weekend, Dylan Moore played more of a midfield role, and he proved what he can do there.

“Changkuoth Jiath running off half-back, and James Sicily had a role on Tex Walker and he played really well… the list goes on.”
