Hawthorn Captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd has been judged the best Hawk afield in Saturday night’s loss to Essendon at Marvel Stadium.

The former Saint tallied six votes from the coaches to kick off her career as a Hawk in style.

Lucas-Rodd recorded the most disposals on the ground for the Hawks with 17, while also adding eight tackles and five clearances.

In her first ever AFLW game, Jasmine Fleming polled one coaches’ vote after amassing 12 disposals, three tackles and three clearances.

Hawthorn leadership group member Tamara Luke rounded out the votes from a brown and gold perspective after recording 16 hit-outs to go with her nine touches, three tackles and three clearances.
