Debutant Emily Everist will be the sole inclusion to a Hawthorn side set to take on Sydney at the Swinburne Centre on Friday night.

Ainslie Kemp (illness) will make way for the 18-year-old Everist.

With both the Hawks and the Swans yet to record a victory in their respective inaugural seasons in the AFLW competition, Friday night’s clash looms as another great opportunity for progression for Bec Goddard’s young side.

Taken with Pick 25 in the 2022 AFLW national draft, Everist, a product of the Bendigo Pioneers, will become Hawthorn's 17th debutant of the season as the club continues to develop young talent on its list.
