Following her NAB AFLW Rising Star nomination, Jasmine Fleming has topped the coaches’ votes for her performance in Hawthorn’s inaugural AFLW win over Sydney.

The 17-year-old gathered 16 possessions (10 of them contested) to go with 10 tackles and four clearances, earning her six coaches’ votes.

Emerging ruck Lucy Wales was next best with five votes. She had a game full of big moments, finishing with 23 hit-outs, 11 disposals, four tackles and four marks.

Tahlia Fellows earned four coaches’ votes for her three goals in just her third AFLW game while Aileen Gilroy polled votes for the third week in a row. The 29-year-old polled two votes this time for her eight disposals, six inside 50s and brilliant goal.
