Hawthorn superstar Jasmine Fleming has been selected in the AFL Players’ Association final 22under22 team.
After being named in the squad of 44 as a defender, fans placed the 18-year-old on the interchange bench in a star-studded line-up of 22.
Fleming is one of seven players named in the team for the first time.
The midfielder averaged 14.4 disposals, 4.3 tackles and 3.2 clearances from nine games and finished third in Hawthorn’s AFLW best and fairest count, all in her debut season.
She also took home the Hawks Rising Star trophy to go with her NAB AFLW Rising Star nomination in Round 5.
In terms of coaches’ votes, Fleming tallied 17 in her first season, topping the votes in her side’s inaugural AFLW win and polling in six of her nine appearances.
