EPISODE 2: TERRY WALLACE >> LISTEN BELOW

The second episode features triple premiership player Terry Wallace who played 174 games for the Hawks over nine seasons.

Playing predominantly in the centre, the number 16 claimed two best and fairest awards in his time with the Hawks, winning the Peter Crimmins Perpetual Memorial Trophy in both 1981 and the club’s premiership year of 1983.

Wallace’s career-best year was arguably the ’83 season in which he played every game and averaged just over 30 disposals, including three performances of 40-plus disposals.

EPISODE 1: RODNEY EADE >> LISTEN BELOW

The first episode welcomes four-time premiership player Rodney Eade

Eade made his debut for the Hawks in Round 17 in 1976, and within nine games found himself immortalised as a premiership player.

1982, however, was arguably Eade’s most prolific season as he averaged 20 disposals, with premiership success again following just one year later.

Hawthorn made its first grand final appearance in five years and recorded a whopping 83-point victory over Essendon, with Eade accumulating 26 disposals in the decider.

Eade finished up with 229 games for the brown and gold - along with another two premierships - before moving to the Brisbane Bears.
