Versatile ruck Clay Tucker is officially a Hawk after being selected with Pick 3 in Wednesday night’s mid-season draft.

The 18-year-old Eastern Ranges product earned selection in the Young Guns representative team this year, where he performed strongly in both matches.

During the season, he has also shown the ability to push forward and make an impact inside 50.

Tucker’s form with the Ranges earned him a call-up with Box Hill, tallying 20 hit-outs, 10 disposals and eight marks in his debut against Essendon on Sunday.

The 204cm product has also been training with Hawthorn throughout the season, impressing with his ruck craft and raw talent.
