Hawthorn has added four names to its squad as the club prepares to host Carlton at the MCG on Sunday.

Chad Wingard, Josh Ward, Fergus Greene and Max Ramsden feature among the four ins on the extended bench, while Jacob Koschitzke (omitted) is the sole confirmed out.

The 26-man squad will be narrowed down to a team of 22 - plus four emergencies - announced at 5pm on Friday.

The Hawks will be looking to bounce back following a disappointing 67-point loss to Gold Coast last week which came following an impressive month.

Meanwhile, the Blues had the bye in Round 15 and snapped a six game losing streak prior to the break with a 59-point win over the Suns in the previous week.

Sunday's match will be the club's second Dare to Hope Match in partnership with Pancare Foundation, to raise awareness and funds for Dare to Hope: Paul Dear Pancreatic Cancer Fund.

Despite the former star Hawk passing last year, this match will proudly carry his legacy and with a new initiative this year, the Bay of Hope.

Visit Dare to Hope for more information on how you can support the fund.

Hawthorn will reveal its Round 16 team on Friday at 5pm on www.hawthornfc.com.au and across its InstagramTwitter and Facebook.
