Hawthorn leaders James Sicily and Luke Breust headline three inclusions ahead of the side's clash with North Melbourne on Sunday at Marvel Stadium.

Captain Sicily will make his return to the brown and gold line-up after missing three games due to a suspension, while co-vice captain Breust has been recalled after recovering from a throat injury that sidelined him last week.

Sunday will mark Sicily's first game since his monster 32-disposal performance in Hawthorn's Round 13 win against Brisbane.

Meanwhile, Breust will be a welcome return to the Hawks attack, with the experienced forward averaging two goals and 3.9 marks per game this season.

Emerging ruck Max Ramsden rounds out the ins for this week, with the youngster returning for his second AFL game after making his debut earlier this year against the Western Bulldogs in Round 7.

James Blanck (injured), Harry Morrison (substitute), Seamus Mitchell (managed) and Denver Grainger-Barras (omitted) make way for the incoming trio.

However, Grainger-Barras is the confirmed substitute for Sunday's game.

General Manager of Football Rob McCartney said he was pleased to see Ramsden earn another opportunity at the top level, while also welcoming back two key leaders into the side.

"The return of James and Luke add both talent and leadership to our group,” McCartney said.

“They are both consistent performers who provide important on-field direction.

"It’s also exciting to see Max get another chance at AFL level. He has continued to work hard at his craft at VFL level and will be determined to take another step in his development against the Kangaroos on Sunday.”

The match will be live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports from 1pm.
