Bio: Wales was drafted by Hawthorn with Pick 22 in the 2022 AFL Women's Draft. She made her debut in Round 1 against her twin sister, Stephanie, who plays for Essendon. Since then, the 20-year-old grew in leaps and bounds, playing every game for the season as the club's number one ruck, due to the reliable Tamara Luke going down with an ACL injury in Round 2. Prior to joining the Hawks, Wales worked her way up to play with the Casey Demons despite only playing a handful of local games as a junior before crossing over to basketball.
