Three Hawks have polled coaches votes following the team's Round 1 defeat against Essendon.

Gun midfielder Emily Bates led the way with four votes after recording a team-high 18 disposals to go with a game-high 15 tackles.

Tamara Luke was next best with three votes after totalling 10 disposals, six tackles, two clearances and 42 hit-outs in her comeback game from an ACL injury.

Co vice-captain Jasmine Fleming rounded out the votes with two following her 15 disposals, eight tackles and two clearances.
