Star Hawthorn midfielder Emily Bates has polled a perfect 10 coaches votes for the first time this season after a superb performance against St Kilda on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old recorded game-highs in disposals (31), clearances (10) and metres gained (343) to go with 23 contested possessions, 11 tackles and six intercept possessions in a complete performance.

She was backed up by captain Tilly Lucas-Rodd with five votes. 

Lucas-Rodd tallied the next most disposals with 26 to complement their nine tackles, five clearances, four score involvements and three marks.

Rising Star nominee Charlotte Baskaran was the final Hawk to poll in the game, with one vote next to her name.

The 18-year-old had 14 disposals, 11 of which were contested possessions, as well as a game-high 12 tackles.
