Hawthorn has made three changes for its Indigenous Round fixture against Sydney this Saturday afternoon at Henson Park.

Experienced defender Ainslie Kemp headlines the trio of inclusions, with the 26-year-old named for her first game of the season.

Kemp will be joined by Sophie Locke and Akec Makur Chuot, with the latter returning to the side following three weeks on the sidelines.

Among the outs include the injured Catherine Brown, whose season is unfortunately over after suffering a ruptured ACL, while Louise Stephenson and Tamara Luke have been omitted.

Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey was excited about the three inclusions into the Round 7 team.

"We look forward to having Ainslie, Akec and Sophie back in our team on Saturday," Bailey said.

"Off the back of some hard work at training, Ainslie has earned her way back into the side and we're excited to see what she adds to the team.

"While having Akec and Sophie back in the side will no doubt provide us with some extra speed, which we hope will help us move the ball more efficiently into attack."
