Hawthorn's 2024 AFLW season has finally arrived, with the team set for its first-ever clash with Carlton on Sunday afternoon.

Season 2023 saw Hawthorn record three wins, the Hawks will look to start the 2024 season off on the right note and etch its name into history as they face Carlton for the very first time in the AFLW competition.

The game also marks the first for Laura Stone, Jess Vukic, Mikayla Williamson, Vice-Captain Eliza West and Casey Sherriff, you certainly don’t want to miss it.

What's on

We’ve got heaps happening for our first home game of 2024!

In addition to an entertaining game, there will be action all around the ground. 

You'll see food trucks, kids activities (including inflatables and a hair stylist), a DJ performance, Nature Valley giveaways and more! 

Quarter time will see a live DJ performance and three-quarter time will play host to the Nature Valley kicking competition.

Membership 

Members can simply scan their digital membership card to access the game.

AFLW matches are mobile only ticketing events. This means your phone is your ticket, so you must download the Hawks App and login to your account.

Due to enhanced technology, you won’t be able to use screenshots of your tickets to scan into the venue. If you need to pass your ticket onto family or friends, you must forward your ticket using the forwarding function in the Hawks App.

Getting to Frankston

There are a variety of different options available for anyone who is travelling to Saturday night's game in Frankston to make it easy to enjoy the match. 

Public Transport 

Frankston Train Station is approximately a 9 minute walk from Kinetic Stadium. With regular departures from various Metro Melbourne stations, it's an easy way to go get to and from the game. The route that will be the most direct if walking is via the Young Street exit, where you will turn left and follow the road along until you arrive at the Stadium.

By Car

Frankston is approx 45 min drive from the Melbourne. There is a wide variety of public car parks available, however, fees and restrictions may apply, so please check signage.

  • Frankston Arts Centre Car Park undercover car park ($2 for the first hour and $7.50 all day) – 5 minute walk to stadium  
  • Bayside Shopping Centre Entertainment Complex (fees apply) –11 minute walk to stadium  
  • Frankston Train Station – 9 minute walk to stadium  
  • High Street
  • Beauty Park
  • Nepean Highway

We recommend arriving early to get a good parking spot close to the game.
