Hawthorn vice-captain Eliza West has been named MVP in her inaugural game for the Hawks against Carlton on Sunday afternoon at Kinetic Stadium.
The vice-captain made an immediate impact in the brown and gold, amassing a team-high 29 disposals and game-high 10 tackles.
West backed it up with a game-high 25 contested possessions, equal team-high four clearances, as well as four score involvements and six intercept possessions.
West will look to replicate her performance as the Hawks prepare for their Week 2 clash with Collingwood at Victoria Park this Saturday at 1.05pm.
