Milestone woman Aileen Gilroy has been voted this week’s MVP after a stellar performance in her 50th game.
Gilroy booted an equal game-high two goals - her first was the opening major of the game.
Adding to the excitement, she celebrated both majors in style, signalling like a goal umpire after the first and the second saw teammate and fellow milestone gamer Casey Sherriff mimed shining her shoe.
She managed a game-high seven score involvements and 11 disposals, as well as four inside 50s and three clearances.
Gilroy and the Hawks will look to continue their strong start to the season as they travel to Adelaide to face the Crows this Sunday at Thomas Farms Oval from 1.05pm.
