Hawks forward Aileen Gilroy’s opening goal of the Week 2 with Collingwood has been nominated for Goal of the Year.

Gilroy booted it from the 50-metre arc to sail through the big sticks, for the first goal of the game.

The major was one of two long-bomb goals in Gilroy’s 50th game at the level.
