Hawthorn has named its final team for its Semi Final battle with Port Adelaide on Friday night at Adelaide Oval.

As confirmed on Wednesday afternoon, the Hawks have made one change for the clash with Jai Serong replacing the injured Sam Frost for the do-or-die match.

Serong's addition comes off the back of his outstanding VFL form, where he has averaged 20.8 disposals, 7.2 marks and 6.8 rebound 50s across 13 matches.

The 21-year-old's last AFL game was against the Power in Round 10 earlier this year.

Hawthorn Executive General Manager of Football Rob McCartney was pleased to see Serong get another AFL opportunity.

“While it is disappointing for Sam to miss Friday night’s game, we know Jai has been knocking on the door for a number of weeks now with his fantastic form in the VFL,” McCartney said.

“It’s pleasing to see him get another opportunity to showcase his weapons at the AFL level and we know he will take it with both hands.

“Along with Jai, our entire team is looking forward to playing against the Power in another big final on another big stage.”
