Hawthorn has made three changes for its Week 4 clash with St Kilda this Saturday afternoon.

Experienced duo Kristy Stratton and Louise Stephenson have been named to play their first game for the Hawks this season, while youngster Laura Elliott has been re-called back into the senior side.

Stratton’s selection comes after overcoming a hamstring injury suffered during the pre-season, while Stephenson and Elliott earn their spots on the back of strong recent showings at the scrimmage level.

Making way for the trio are a pair of first-year Hawks in Jess Vukic and Hayley McLaughlin, as well as Charlotte Baskaran.

Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey said the three additions to this week’s team will provide further experience and class to the lineup.

“Kristy gets her chance after coming back from an injury through the scrimmage match last week. It’s going to be good to have her grunt and aggression out there for us,” Bailey said.

“Lou has been really consistent through off season and has been knocking the door down, so she gets a good opportunity this week.

“Laura’s been in good form since she came out of the team earlier in the season, but she's worked hard on what the coaches told her to improve and this is a reward for effort.”
