Sophie Butterworth has been named as a late inclusion today to make her debut against the GWS Giants.

Butterworth was drafted at pick 45 in the 2023 National Draft from the Dandenong Stingrays.

The young forward made the Coates Talent League Girls Team of the Year and represented Vic Country in 2023.

The 18-year-old is a forward with a lethal left both and impressive aerial ability.

Butterworth replaces Emily Everist who is out with illness.
