Hawthorn has made two changes for its Week 9 clash against Narrm this Thursday night in Cairns.
Casey Sherriff and Mackenzie Eardley have both been named in the Hawks senior side to open up the league's Indigenous Round after overcoming their respective injuries.
Sherriff returns for her first game since Week 2 after recovering from fractured fibula, while Eardley has been cleared of concussion protocol after exiting the game early in Week 6 against Fremantle.
Sophie Locke and Sophie Butterworth are the two confirmed outs, with the pair omitted.
Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey welcomed the two players back from injury.
"Both Casey and Mack are great additions to our senior side as we prepare to face a quality side in Narrm this Thursday night," Bailey said.
“They’ve both faced injury challenges and have handled themselves well. We’re excited to have them back in the team.
"Casey has had a longer stint in rehab and has applied herself incredibly impressively. Running out tomorrow night is a great reward for her and she’s set the standard for how to deal with adversity.”
