Hawthorn star midfielder Jasmine Fleming has been named the Week 9 MVP following her excellent performance in the team's six-point win over Narrm at Cazalys Stadium, Cairns.

The 19-year-old starred with 23 disposals, six marks and 533 metres gained, dazzling with her precise kicking and electric run and carry. 

Fleming also booted a goal in the first term, which was her fourth major for the season.

The leadership group member is now averaging 19 disposals, 4.9 tackles, 4.2 inside 50s and 3.4 clearances from her 10 games so far this year.

Fleming will aim to continue her stellar season when the Hawks take on Richmond at the Swinburne Centre (Punt Road) on Sunday afternoon.
