The numbers of Hawthorn’s AFL recruits for 2025 have been revealed, while one Hawk has changed his number from season 2024.
See all the new numbers for 2025 below.
20 - Finn Maginness
As previously unveiled, Finn Maginness will don the number 20 guernsey, following in the footsteps of his father Scott, a two-time premiership player for the brown and gold who played 131 games for the club.
Fresh from signing a contract extension until the end of the 2027 season, Maginness has the opportunity to create his own history in the coveted number, with previous wearers including Ian Bremner (158 games), Brett Hyde (129 games), Jade Rawlings (116 games) and David Hale (108 games).

21 - Noah Mraz
After being drafted with Pick 35 in the 2024 national draft, Noah Mraz is set to suit up in the number 21 as he begins his AFL journey.
Arguably the most notable Hawk to pull on the number 21 is former captain Richard Vandenberg, who played 145 games for the brown and gold over nine years.
Those with sharp memories may recall a more recent captain who also wore the number in his early years, with James Sicily suiting up for 44 games across 2015 - 2017.
That was just the second of Sicily’s three guernsey number changes though, with his name set to feature again below.
24 - Josh Battle
After crossing over from St Kilda in the 2024 trade period, Josh Battle will pull on the number 24 guernsey as he prepares to begin his time in the brown and gold.
Some big names have previously suited up in the number 24 jumper, including Chris Langford (303 games), Peter Knights (264 games), Ben Stratton (202 games), Trent Croad (184 games), Alan Woodley (130 games) and Albert Prior (103 games).

32 - Cody Anderson
Next Generation Academy product turned AFL Hawk, Cody Anderson will don the number 32 in season 2025.
After previously wearing the number while suiting up for the Eastern Ranges, 32 became free next year after Finn Maginness vacated the number to don the number 20 next year.
Colin Robertson is perhaps the most prominent name to suit up in the number 32, playing 116 games during his six years at the club.
37 - Tom Barrass
Tom Barrass will keep the same number he wore at West Coast, number 37.
After winning a premiership and a club best and fairest while at the Eagles, the 29-year-old can create a new legacy in the brown and gold with the same number.
Angelo Lekkas (180 games) and Brendan Whitecross (111 games) are the previous two Hawks who have suited up for 100 games in the number 37.

41 - Matt Hill
Matt Hill will begin his AFL career in the number 41 after being recruited to Hawthorn as a Category B rookie.
A trio of Hawks have suited up for matches in the number previously, with Oliver Hanrahan playing 29 games, Glenn Harrison suiting up for 10 games and Connor Downie making two appearances.
The number also marked James Sicily’s entry into the AFL, with the young 18-year-old at the time handed the guernsey back in 2014.
43 - Jaime Uhr-Henry
Hawks fans will spot Category B rookie Jaime Uhr-Henry in the number 43 from next year.
Peter Murnane is arguably the most prominent Hawk to pull on this number, playing 80 games from 1976 - 1981.
