The '100 games or more’ panel, on display in the Museum’s foyer, rivals the ‘Team Photo Wall’ for animated in-depth discussion amongst our many visitors.

It is fascinating to sit back and listen to the engaging conversations and learn more about the visitors’ assessments of the players who have registered at least 100 games and their achievements.

These discussions often lead to the 100 gamers’ post-football careers - what their occupations are now, where they live, whether they have family and invariably, as their children grow older, whether their sons or daughters will make the grade at Hawthorn.

Of the 973 players who have made their debut with the Mayblooms / Hawks, 149 players have registered 100 games or more.

The ageless Michael Tuck leads the way with 426 games.

Eight players have now achieved 300 games.

Luke Breust became a member of this exclusive club when he played his 300th game in the last game of the season against Port Adelaide.

Other members are Leigh Matthews (332), Sam Mitchell (307 - current AFL coach), Shane Crawford (305), Luke Hodge (305), Chris Langford (303), Don Scott (303) and Kelvin Moore (300).

Breust has a wonderful opportunity to climb higher on the list with his outstanding career to continue in season 2025.

Twnety-eight other players have reached the 200-game mark.

From the 2024 playing list, Luke Breust leads with 300 games and is now in ninth position in the number of games played.

He is followed by Jack Gunston who added another 18 games to his tally of 229 games and moved up to 24th position, returning to the fold after a 12-month residency with the Brisbane Lions.

Blake Hardwick follows with 172 games in 54th position and captain James Sicily in 69th position with 156 games.

James Worpel has moved to the 100th position and is now on 127 games.

Four players have joined the 100-game club in 2024.

Jarman Impey played his 100th game in Round 4, 2024 in a losing game to Geelong.

Jack Scrimshaw played his 100th game in Round 23 in a winning game against Carlton while Harry Morrison reached his 100th game in Round 24 - also a winning game against Richmond.

Dylan Moore registered his milestone 100th game with the Mighty Hawks in the last game of the season in the semi-final against Port Adelaide.

Since Hawthorn joined the VFL/AFL in 1925 to the end of season 2024, 86 players have played one senior game for the club, with Ethan Phillips now on that list.
