Take a breath in nature

Kick start your morning with a walk or jog in Cataract Gorge – right on the edge of the city the Gorge is easy to get to by foot, by car or with the free Tiger Bus .

Catch your breath with a bird’s eye view of stunning Cataract Gorge with a ride on the Gorge Scenic Chairlift.

Time for breakfast! Take the scenic route back and drop by Boatyard for a brekky on the edge of the Kanamaluka/Tamar River

A short drive along the West Tamar you will find the Tamar Island Wetlands Centre and Reserve – a great spot for bird watching! Stroll the boardwalks to discover this unique estuarine wetland ecosystem.

Continue your journey with some wine tastings and lunch in the Tamar Valley Wine Region enjoying the peaceful views across vineyards, before heading back to Launceston for the evening match.
