THREE Hawthorn players and three North Melbourne players shared the coaches' votes in Friday night's blockbuster at Etihad Stadium.

The Hawks won the match, but it was Roos defender Robbie Tarrant who earned the coaches' votes as best on ground, finishing one shy of a perfect 10-vote game.

Five-goal star James Sicily polled eight votes, while skipper Jordan Lewis was next best with seven, following his influential 31-disposal, 11-clearance match.

Another midfield veteran - North Melbourne's Daniel Wells - picked up four votes, while Cyril Rioli and Mason Wood rounded out the votes with one apiece.
