There are some fascinating match-ups to watch out for this weekend with the two sides boasting plenty of stars.
Here are some of the potential one-on-ones we might see on Monday:
Luke Breust vs Tom Stewart
Arguably the most likely head-to-head match-up over the entire ground – a showdown between the 2018 All Australian forward pocket and the 2018 All Australian back pocket beckons. Luke Breust has been the Hawks’ most damaging goal kicker to date this season, booting eight goals in the opening month. Meanwhile Stewart has gone to another level this season, especially on the offensive side of the game where he is averaging a career-high 25.5 disposals and 10.5 rebound 50s, good for second in the league behind only James Sicily.
Ricky Henderson vs Mitch Duncan
Two midfielders that are in many ways cut from the same cloth. Ricky Henderson is in career-best form at the moment, averaging 25.8 disposals and a goal per game, while Mitch Duncan has been an integral part of the Cats midfield for a large part of his 184-game career. Both players have the ability to both rack up possessions and impact the scoreboard. With its depleted midfield stocks, Hawthorn will be relying on Henderson to once again fire in this Easter Monday blockbuster.

Tom Hawkins vs ?
James Frawley would have been the obvious choice to look after big Cat Tom Hawkins in this Round 5 clash. Frawley enjoyed a strong start to the season, curtailing the likes of Taylor Walker and Ben Brown. But with the defender injuring his hamstring against the Saints last week, there is now a question of who will stand alongside Hawkins. James Sicily has shown an ability to play as an undersized defender this year, while David Mirra is probably the strongest remaining candidate. Kaiden Brand has also performed strongly in the VFL of late, with his name sure to be floated at match committee this week as well.
