Hawthorn and North Melbourne have agreed to a pick swap ahead of next week’s NAB AFL Draft.
The Hawks will receive the Kangaroos' future second round pick as well as Picks 50 and 73 in this year’s draft in exchange for Pick 30.
Following this trade, the Hawks’ selections for the 2019 draft are Picks 11, 42, 50, 54, 63, 73, 87 and 92.

GM – Football Graham Wright said the trade is a strategic move to bolster the club’s stocks in the next two drafts.
“We feel like this pick swap strengthens our position in both this year and next year’s draft,” Wright said.
“We now look forward to next week's drafts.”
