DEFENDERS Josh Gibson and Ben Stratton can accept $1000 fines after being charged for incidents in Hawthorn’s win against Adelaide Crows on Thursday night.

The AFL Match Review Panel charged Gibson with striking Crow Charlie Cameron in the first quarter of the Round 12 match.

Stratton was charged with striking Crow Eddie Betts, also in the first quarter.

Both players have good records and can accept $1000 with an early guilty plea.

Both incidents were classified as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, based on video evidence and medical reports from the Crows.

The MRP adjudicated midfielder Sam Mitchell had no case to answer, as he braced to protect himself from contact instigated by Crows’ captain Taylor Walker in the second quarter.
