Last Week
In the Sunday twilight fixture, the Hawks enjoyed a comprehensive 10 goal win over the Saints, but it wasn’t like that on the Fantasy scoreboard.
The Saints outscored the Hawks 1674 to 1548 and a few Fantasy coaches were grumpy.
Jordan Lewis, who missed last week, posted his lowest score of the season after averaging over 130 points prior to this game. Dependable defenders Matt Suckling (63) and Josh Gibson (62) were short of their season average.
In good news, Luke Hodge was at his best with 113 points while forward Jack Gunston and Jarryd Roughead kicked three goals each for 101 and 95 respectively.

On The Radar
The byes start this weekend where we have three rounds where six teams will have a bye.
If you are just worrying about your default Classic league, then there are no games over the next three weeks however you are still able (and should) make trades to make your team better as you resume head-to-head battles in round 14.
If you are going for overall ranking, then you need to be fielding as many players are possible each week as your best 18 scores from within your 22 on field players will count towards your score each round.
The Hawks have the first bye and will be on the radar to pick up prior to round 13. Jordan Lewis is possibly worth waiting for as his breakeven is 163 and he will be closer to $600K in a few weeks’ time. If Hodgey isn’t in your team, then he should be priority number one to bring in after the bye.
What’s Coming Up
As mentioned the Hawks have the bye this week but will be back to take on the Crows in round 12.
Last time they met was back in round 17, 2014 and Sam Mitchell was the best with 103 in the two goal win. Luke Hodge (99), Jonathan Simpkin (97), Grant Birchall (95), Isaac Smith (94), Jonathan Ceglar (92) and Jordan Lewis (90) were among the best.
