Warnie from The Traders, AFL.com.au’s NAB AFL Fantasy experts, will be taking a look at the Hawks each week exclusive to hawthornfc.com.au.
Last Week
Not only was it a tough Friday night for the Hawks, the Fantasy points didn’t flow freely.
The Tigers have been restricting their opposition when it comes to Fantasy scoring and once again it was a challenge with just five players reaching the ton in the match.
Jordan Lewis (109) found plenty of the ball, finishing with 34 disposals. Even though he didn’t reach the feats of previous weeks, Luke Hodge (104) made it five tons on the trot. Isaac Smith (101) was the only other Hawk to crack triple figures.
Top 5 Scorers v Richmond
- 109 – Jordan Lewis (MID, $557,000)
- 104 – Luke Hodge (DEF/MID, $623,000)
- 101 – Isaac Smith (MID, $503,000)
- 97 – Jack Gunston (FWD, $500,000)
- 91 – Shaun Burgoyne (DEF/MID, $380,000)
On The Radar
Jordan Lewis increased $3K this week and is still good value to bring into your midfield. The midfielder’s breakeven is 101.
DEF/MID Shaun Burgoyne is coming in at a low price at the moment. Despite increasing $6K off the back his 91, a breakeven of 65 places him as a value pick in defence if you are shopping back there.
What’s Coming Up
This Saturday night the Hawks feature in another Match Day game.
It could be a Fantasy feast at Domain Stadium where big Fantasy scores are the order of the day. Last time the two sides met, the Hawks claimed a 44 point win at Aurora Stadium in Launceston where plenty of points were scored.
Jarryd Roughead booted eight goals for 163. If he can do the same and you captain him, you could be on your way to the $10,000 Match Day prize.
Luke Hodge (120) and Jordan Lewis (111) enjoyed big games and were among the 11 players from both teams to crack the ton.
