HAWTHORN’S new recruits have received their guernsey numbers for 2016, while four current players have switched numbers.
Billy Hartung, Angus Litherland, Dallas Willsmore and Zac Webster have all changed numbers.
Hartung inherits dual premiership player Matt Suckling’s number four, Litherland has received triple premiership defender Brian Lake’s number 17, and Willsmore will move into number 20, which was vacated by triple premiership ruckman-forward David Hale.
Hartung follows in the footsteps of another triple-premiership Hawk, Andy Collins, who spent his first two seasons in the number 40 before moving to number four.
Webster moves into Litherland’s former guernsey, number 31.
The Hawks’ three draftees – Ryan Burton, Kieran Lovell and Blake Hardwick – will sit side-by-side in the locker room, after receiving numbers 35, 36 and 37 respectively.
New recruit Jack Fitzpatrick will don the number 32, while incoming rookies Luke Surman, Kade Stewart and Conor Glass will wear number 38, 40 and 44 respectively.
