Luke Breust

Last time Breust played against the Kangaroos he was the leading goal kicker with five goals straight. It was his highest scoring game of the season so far.

Against the Lions last week, Breust was kept quiet with only eight disposals to his name. It was also the second week in a row that the goal sneak has been kept goalless.

Breust will be keen to snag a few and memories of the last time these two teams met may inspire him.

Shaun Higgins

In his fourteenth season of AFL, Higgins is playing some of his best footy to date.

Like a fine wine, the midfielder is getting better with age averaging 27.8 disposals – a career-high.

Higgins is the leading ball winner for his team, however the majority of his possessions are uncontested (71 per cent).

Will the Hawks be able to stop Higgins getting free?

Ben Brown

Ben Brown is the Kangaroos main avenue to goal.

The frizzy-haired forward with a long run up averages nearly three goals a game, so he’s definitely a player you need to keep an eye on.

At 200cm, he’s hard to spoil averaging five marks a game and usually half of them are inside 50. Will the Hawks be able to match up on big Ben?

Ben McEvoy

So often the Hawks big man flies under the radar.

The no-fuss ruckman will have his hands full this Friday night though when he comes up against North’s Todd Goldstein.

Though Goldstein won more hit-outs than McEvoy last time they met, Hawthorn’s ruck was able to push forward and kick a couple of goals.

This Round 20 ruck clash should be intriguing.

Connor Nash

In the absence of Tim O’Brien and with Mitch Lewis not at his best, Nash stood up last week against the Lions.

The forward had his best game this season, kicking two goals and collecting 12 disposals. Will Nash make it two good games in a row?
