Morrison’s 2019 was split evenly between the AFL and VFL playing nine games in both competitions.
The 20-year-old played the first five matches of the year in the AFL averaging 12 disposals before being relegated to the VFL in Round 6.
In his first game for Box Hill, Morrison was a standout collecting 31 disposals and kicking three goals against the Coburg Lions earning him a recall to the AFL side in Round 8 where he played four further matches.
Morrison’s final match of the year for Hawthorn came in Round 14, a seven-disposal performance against the Swans at the SCG.
From there he spent the rest of the season at Box Hill where he averaged 19.4 disposals across his nine games.
