Hawthorn may have the oldest list in 2019, but you don't have to look far to find the young developing talent in the brown and gold.
Here are six Hawks no older than 21 years old who are starting to prove their value at senior level.
Mitchell Lewis

Goals: 7
After playing two AFL games in 2018, Mitchell Lewis started his 2019 season with Box Hill.
However, after two impressive outings including a four-goal haul against Casey in Round 1, Lewis made his way into the senior team where he has been consistent up forward kicking a goal a match.
Lewis has played five consecutive matches, however missed the Hawks' Round 10 game against the Power with concussion.
He was straight back into the side last weekend where he impressed once again booting two goals against the Lions.
James Worpel
AFL games: 22
AFL games in 2019: 11
Average disposals in 2019: 24.7
In the absence of Tom Mitchell, James Worpel has stood up in the Hawks midfield.
Worpel played 11 AFL games in 2018, however this year he has become a regular, lining up for the Hawks every game this season.
In his 11 games, Worpel has amassed more than 20 possessions on each occasion to become the second leading possession winner at the club.
Worpel averages 24.7 possessions a game and is second for the club for inside 50s and clearances.
Dylan Moore

Disposal count per game: 9, 13, 14, 15
After playing 16 games with Box Hill in 2018, Dylan Moore made his debut for the Hawks in Round 3 against North Melbourne.
Moore has played four games for Hawthorn this season with his possession count growing on every outing.
His best game was against the Tigers in Round 9 where he had 15 disposals and kicked his first senior goal.
Jack Scrimshaw

Best game: Round 4 v St Kilda – 23 disposals and 11 marks
Jack Scrimshaw made his way to Hawthorn from the Gold Coast where he had previously played two seasons with the Suns.
He played just four games in his time up north, however Melbourne’s cooler climate must suit the youngster with Scrimshaw already playing nine games in the brown and gold.
The 20-year-old has shown some exciting signs to date, especially in the Hawks Round 4 game against the Saints where he gathered 23 disposals and took 11 marks.
Unfortunately, Scrimshaw injured his knee in Round 10 against Port Adelaide but looks set to return within the next month.
Harry Morrison
Age: 20
Games: 30
The 20-year-old is now in his third season with the Hawks after finding a regular spot in the team last year when he played 21 games.
This season he has played eight games, and like Scrimshaw, Morrison had his best game against the Saints in Round 4 where he had 18 disposals.
Morrison averages 13 disposals at an outstanding 76% efficiency.
James Cousins
Average disposals in 2017 and 2018: 13
Average disposals in 2019: 19
Cousins has taken his game to another level in his third season at the Hawks.
In 2017 and 2018 Cousins averaged 13 disposals a match. This year that has jumped to 19.
He has played every game this season except for Round 7 and has had 20+ disposals on five occasions. The 21-year-old has also been damaging up forward kicking a goal in seven of his 10 games.
Cousins’ best game was against the Giants in Round 8 where he had 25 disposals, 11 marks and kicked an important goal.
