Sarah Perkins was at her best on the weekend when Hawthorn defeated Melbourne University by 23 points in Round 13 of the VFLW.
The key forward booted three goals including two signature long range goals from the 50 metre arc.
But it was Perkins work around the ground that saw her named as this week’s MVP.
The former Adelaide Crows premiership player played as the Hawks’ second ruck, took five marks, had five inside 50s and two clearances.
“Sarah was superb on Sunday with 16 possessions, five marks, two clearances and three great goals,” said coach Paddy Hill.
“Sarah split her time between ruck and forward in a powerful performance.”
Hawthorn’s VFLW team now need to win two of their remaining three games in order to make finals.
They play eighth-placed Casey this Saturday afternoon at Box Hill City Oval at 1.00pm.
